“As Inside Sales Manager for Global Compression Services, I lead our inside sales team based in Houston, TX, supporting and assisting customers in the Houston area, as well as domestic U.S. and international customers. Our domestic sales team is focused on providing both internal and external customers with excellent customer service and ensuring parts are delivered accurately and on time. Likewise, our international sales team is also focused on excellent internal and external customer service and parts delivery, while also managing export compliance. I began my journey in this industry with Global Compressor Parts in 2011, transitioning from previous role in the banking sector. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with the family.”
Freddy Alvarado – Email Freddy
“I began my career in this industry in 1992 with an Altronic Distributor based in Odessa, Texas. Since that time, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge of parts distribution and control systems for natural gas compressors. After a few years, I moved to Oklahoma City to work with another distributor, starting on the mag bench and working my way up to technical sales rep in western Oklahoma where I eventually became a Branch Manager and later a Field Service Manager, all while provide excellent customer service in each role. As Project Sales Manager, I look forward to working with our customers to help develop solutions designed to meet their specific requirements. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports – especially college football – and spending time with my wife, daughters and grandkids.”

“I have over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and in that time, I’ve gained knowledge of the gas compression field from the ground up. I started my career as a Valve Compressor Tech in 1991 and eventually moved into a Parts Manager role beginning in 2020. Now in my current role as Branch Manager of our Corpus Christi operations, my goal is to take a hands-on approach to providing excellent customer service – from the quality of our work, to sizing units and even designing databases on all of our customers’ units in order to provide the highest level of support. In my spare time, I manage and operate a cattle ranch, spend time with family and friends and enjoy working with my hands on a variety of projects. I love the opportunities to help you figure out solutions to your business challenges.”

“As Branch Manager at Global Compression Services, I am responsible for the operations at our El Reno, OK location. Prior to becoming Branch Manager, I have built a 32-year career in the natural gas industry, starting out in the parts department and working my way up to field service mechanic while developing extensive knowledge of and experience with valve builds and repairs. My background has given me opportunities to build rapport with my customers and fellow coworkers, and I take pride in both my personal and organizational accomplishments while helping to drive this industry forward. When I’m not keeping busy with work you can find me spending time with my family and fishing.”

“My career as a Machinist began in 1993 at H&S Valve in Odessa, TX. In 1999, I relocated to Longview, TX to take on a new role as Shop Foreman when this location first opened for business. Since 2007, I have served as the Branch Manager of the Farmington, NM location of Global. Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive knowledge and insight of gas compression, compressors and how they operate, as well as compression-related issues. This experience is one of the strongest skills I bring to my position now as Branch Manager. I enjoy sharing my problem-solving expertise across the Global operating territory with our customers and our Global team. When not at work, I enjoy bowling, old cars and traveling. I love spending time with my family and friends.”

“My career with Global Compression Services began in 1990 as a Service Technician for Ignition Systems & Controls (ISC) in Midland, TX. In 1995, I relocated to Oklahoma City, OK as a field service foreman, responsible for all field projects including installation and commissioning of engine and compressor controls. I later became Branch Manager, responsible of all branch operations in both Oklahoma City and Weatherford, Texas. In 2015, I relocated to Colorado where I currently serve as Branch Manager of our Greeley, CO location, responsible for all operations of the branch, including administration, sales and service. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending my spare time with my wife and two daughters, traveling, and enjoying all outdoor activities.”

“I began my career in the oil and gas industry in 1992, getting my start working on pipelines in Oklahoma. Since that time, I have acquired more than 30 years of experience in mechanical, parts, engine controls and inventory control. I bring decades of experience to the southern Gulf region. I first joined Global 11 years ago as a technical sales rep. After a year of sales, I was promoted to Branch Manager of the Lafayette location. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my wife and kids, taking backroad trips on my Harley, and playing fetch with my dogs.”

“I began my career in the gas compression industry in 2002 as a shop technician with H&S Valve. I spent four years gaining valuable hands-on experience working with valve repair machining. In 2006, I moved to sales where I spent twelve years providing our customers with excellent service and building important business relationships. In 2018, I took on my current responsibility as Branch Manager of our Longview, TX location. In this role, I am committed to providing every customer an unmatched experience in customer service as well as quality craftsmanship. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy fishing and clay shooting.”

“As the Branch Manager of the Permian Basin at Global Compression Services, I oversee our operations in the Midland and Odessa regions of Texas. The extensive knowledge and expertise I bring to this role I have acquired over the course of thirty years of professional experience in the natural gas compression industry, particularly in the areas of manufacturing and packaging. Away from my professional role, I enjoy occupying my free time by hunting, fishing and woodworking.”

“As the Branch Manager of the Weatherford Global Compression Services office, I oversee our operations in the North Texas region. I strive to give our customers the best service possible. Prior to my role as Branch Manager, I served as a Technical Sales representative for the Weatherford branch. I have experience in gas compression sales, engine and compressor overhaul, and parts purchasing in the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma. Outside of my profession role you can find me spending time with my wife and our animals, fishing and working on my 1988 Ford Mustang LX 5.0.”
