Anthony D. Speer has served as President of Global Compression Services companies since October 2019. Prior to that he served as Vice President of ISC/H&S Valves since February 2018. Previously Mr. Speer served as Vice President of Manufacturing for CSI & CSI Compressco from October 2010 through February 2018. After joining CSI in April 2006, Mr. Speer progressed through various roles including; Manager – Manufacturing, Director-Manufacturing and Director-Engineering and Manufacturing. From 1991 to 2006, Mr. Speer worked for Halliburton. He served for three years as a manufacturing engineer for Halliburton and was nominated to participate in the Halliburton Management Program. After graduating from this program in 1996, he served in various leadership roles within Halliburton’s manufacturing organization. He began as a shop supervisor and eventually served as a plant manager. Mr. Speer holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently a member of the Midland Montessori School Board.
“In my role as Supply Chain General Manager for Global Compression Services, I am responsible for the overall management of parts across the company and ensuring that the correct parts are delivered on time to our customers with GREAT customer service. Prior to joining Global Compression Services in 2017, I spent 4 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving clients in the upstream, midstream and natural gas and oilfield service industries. I have a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Accounting, both from Texas Tech University, and I’m a licensed CPA. When I’m not busy at work, I like to stay active by exercising, playing (and watching) sports and spending time with my wife and two sons.”
“As Operations General Manager for Global Compression Services, I am responsible for the management of our branch locations in the Permian, Rockies, and the Northeast. With more than 30 years of experience in this industry – including 13 years with Global – my background includes service and technical support, field work performing installations and maintenance, and conducting training sessions. I was also the first recipient of Altronic’s annual “Joe Duffy” Customer Service award. Outside of the office, I enjoy working on my 1927 Model T with a 1940 Model A Flathead and four speed transmission. I also enjoy attending car shows, and my wife and I are often in our shop together crafting things from wood and steel.”
“As the Operations General Manager, I am responsible for the management of our branch locations in the Gulf Coast and Mid-Continent. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from Texas Tech University, have been in sales professionally for the past decade and with Global Compression Services since 2012, having developed extensive experience with sales management, CRM development, project management, customer relationship management, customer service and business development. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy fishing, hunting, home improvement and community involvement.”
“As Field Service General Manager, I oversee the Instrumentation and Electronic sales team and assist with our I&E field teams. I graduated from OSU Okmulgee with a degree in Applied Sciences focused on Natural Gas Compression and have spent 15 years working in the natural gas industry gaining hands-on experience as a rental fleet compression mechanic, an emissions technician, in telemetry system development, in sales with Altronic Controls, and in I&E with a midstream company before joining Global. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters as well as hunting, fishing, and working with my hands in a variety of projects.”
