Mike Brooks serves as Chief Executive Officer of Global Compression Services. Prior to joining Global Compression Services, Mr. Brooks served as Chief Commercial Officer North America for DESOTEC. Previously, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for Thorpe Specialty Services and held various leadership roles with Celeros Flow Technology, SPX Flow, CIRCOR International, Cameron Process & Compression and GE Oil & Gas. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks was a founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Enginuity, LLC, a natural gas engine retrofit company. Mr. Brooks holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed executive training at Rice University.
“In my role as Vice President of Supply Chain for Global Compression Services, I am responsible for the overall management of parts across the company and ensuring that the correct parts are delivered on time to our customers with GREAT customer service. Prior to joining Global Compression Services in 2017, I spent 4 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving clients in the upstream, midstream and natural gas and oilfield service industries. I have a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Accounting, both from Texas Tech University, and I’m a licensed CPA. When I’m not busy at work, I like to stay active by exercising, playing (and watching) sports and spending time with my wife and two sons.”
“As Vice President of Operations, I am responsible for the management of our branch locations. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from Texas Tech University, have been in sales professionally for the past decade and with Global Compression Services since 2012, having developed extensive experience with sales management, CRM development, project management, customer relationship management, customer service and business development. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy fishing, hunting, home improvement and community involvement.”

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading HR initiatives that deliver measurable business impact, from integrating multiple acquisitions to designing scalable talent strategies that drive revenue growth. I’m passionate about creating organizational development frameworks that support employees and contribute to long-term business success. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and hold a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. I’m also an active member for the Society for Human Resource Management, Permian Basin Chapter.”
“As Field Service General Manager, I oversee the Instrumentation and Electronic sales team and assist with our I&E field teams. I graduated from OSU Okmulgee with a degree in Applied Sciences focused on Natural Gas Compression and have spent 15 years working in the natural gas industry gaining hands-on experience as a rental fleet compression mechanic, an emissions technician, in telemetry system development, in sales with Altronic Controls, and in I&E with a midstream company before joining Global. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters as well as hunting, fishing, and working with my hands in a variety of projects.”
